Farming Family Facilitation

clearer conversations, better decisions, practical action

Farming families operate where business, relationships, identity and responsibility meet. The work is seasonal, the pressure is real, and decisions often carry weight far beyond the paddock.

Regular planning meetings help families remain aligned, sustain momentum and turn shared priorities into

action.

Narrative-Informed Facilitation

Farming families are shaped by more than plans, figures and job descriptions. They are also shaped by stories:

  • Who has always made the decisions.

  • Whose work is most visible.

  • What each person is believed to be good at.

  • Which roles are considered permanent.

  • What the family believes must be protected.

Where appropriate, I use thoughtful questions to help families notice the assumptions and language influencing a practical business conversation.

That reflection is always connected back to decisions, responsibilities and agreed action.

Optional Role and Decision Clarity

Where practical role questions are affecting meetings or business operations, additional facilitation may help clarify:

  • Who is responsible for what

  • Who has authority to make particular decisions

  • Where consultation or joint agreement is required

  • Where responsibilities overlap

  • Which expectations have been assumed rather than discussed

  • Which matters require further specialist advice

This work is separately scoped after an initial conversation.

It focuses on practical roles, responsibilities and decision pathways.

It does not replace legal, financial, succession, mediation or therapeutic advice.
